POWER Function

The POWER function returns a number raised to a power.

For example,

=POWER(4,2)

would return 4 taken to the second power (16).

Syntax

POWER(number,power)

  • number - Required. This is the base number.
  • power - Required. This is the exponent, to which the base number is raised.
