How does AutoTag work?
AutoTag is a report design tool and an add-in for Microsoft Office. You simply open Word, Excel or PowerPoint and start creating your template. Design your template using Office tools such as tables, formulas, headers, footers, columns, images, colors, charts, tables of contents, and more.
Then, put placeholders for data, called tags, in the template. This can be done once by your IT staff, although in many cases the process is easy enough for the non-programmer. When you want to run a report, you choose the output type from within the template. Reports are available in a wide range of formats, including PDF, HTML, DOCX, Excel spreadsheet and more. Lastly, you click a button to generate a report with real-time data.
