How To Perform a Silent Install of AutoTag

This article provides instructions for completing a silent install of AutoTag. During a quiet (or unattended) installation, the user is never prompted to supply information.

You can perform a silent install of AutoTag using the .msi specific to the bitness (# of bits) of your version of Office.

Registry Keys

We do not currently have a way to pass the license key during the silent install, however, you can add this yourself by updating the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Windward Studios\Auto Tag!License

Or if running 32-bit Windows or Office 64-bit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Windward Studios\Auto Tag!License
